Removing a Virus with RescueME
Bat file to update the Ultimate Boot CD

You now have a choice of 2 bat files to run:
AVDefUp.bat = will update the original AV components of the CD.
Customupdate.bat = This will add various Windows tools. You can install AVG, AntiVir, Avast, Spybot and Adaware. Several stand alone AV tools can be run Trend Micro, Dr Web and Sophos, there are also stand alone spyware removal tools, a disk imager, rootkit tools and a file recovery utility. Create a folder called UBCD on your CD drive. You can drag and drop this
location into the bat file when it runs or type in the full file path ie
C:\UBCD please avoid long file names and spaces.
Extract the file publicupdate.exe into this folder.

Extract the contents of the zip, extract the contents of the ISO (FREE: ISOBuster,
IZArc,
Zip Genius,
ALZip Paid For:
Winrar, will all
extract ISO's) into the folder eg c:\UBCD
You should now see the following file structure in the above folder:
boot
docs
dosapps
freesco
images
INSERT
isolinux
licenses
tools
ubcd
updater
ubcd.ico
boot.catalog
autorun.inf
Run AVDefUp.bat this will then download any files that need updating.
Files updated.

A ISO called UBCD.iso will be created in the folder updater within the folder structure
Use smallcd writer to burn the image to CD.

Record ISO image to DISC (NB if you select any other option the CD will not
work)
